Beautiful 👬👭👬👬👭👭
This is Rj Prashant, and gald to see you here as I Luv💖🤟 Youh soo much...
A few of my friend advised me to post a blog on How to start working with Google Classroom. So today I gonna brief you about G – Classroom
Before going ahead, please have a look about Google's most popular tools -- Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs -- are staples for getting organized and getting work done. These collaboration-friendly tools have revolutionized the way we communicate, work together, and store information online. For teachers and students, the education-friendly platform Google Classroom brings the benefits of paperless sharing, assessment, and digital collaboration to classrooms. Tens of millions of teachers and students use Google Classroom in thousands of schools worldwide, making it one of the most popular edtech tools around.Google Classroom is a free web service developed by Google for schools that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students. As of 2021, approximately 150 million users use Google Classroom. Company has been launched it since 2014, i.e. 12/Aug/2014. But Google Classroom was announced on May 6, 2014, with a preview available for some members of Google's G Suite for Education program.
Google describes Google Classroom as "mission control for your classroom," which might be the easiest way to think about it. Simply put, it's a platform that ties together Google's workspace tool (formerly known as G Suite) for teachers and students. It also acts as a digital organizer where teachers can keep class materials and share them with students -- all paperless-ly. From there, you can pick and choose the features you want to incorporate. This flexibility and seamless integration with Google's popular tools have made Google Classroom one of the most widely used edtech tools today.
As of April 2021, Google Classroom
can sync data with the Skyward 2.0 and Infinite Campus student information
systems. According to Google, more SIS integrations currently are being piloted or are in
development. As Google continues to add features, it may start to
look, and function, more like an LMS. But for now it's best to think of
the tool as a one-stop shop for class organization.
Follow these steps to create a class:
On the Welcome screen, click the plus sign at the top and choose Create Class.
In the ‘Create Class’ dialogue box, type in the Class Name and Section.
Click on Create button.
Your new classroom is created (see Figure 1). You can see that the classroom has 4 main tabs. Here’s what those tabs mean:
Stream: This is where you manage your class assignments and make announcements to the class. You can add new assignments, with due dates and attached materials. Upcoming assignments are shown at the left. Also, just with social media services, you can send a message to your entire class — even with an attachment.
·
Class works: This is where you manage your class performance, performed by
your students and also share the materials, assignments, Quiz, by following the
given instructions as well as using a short cut key Ctrl+Cmd+Space. Not only
this you can also give the reminder to all the students and schedule their test
by using the option of G – calendar. To arrange the quiz or test you may just follow
the proper instruction and paste the link of your google form link in the given
area and done. And if you are worried about the marks of test of your students,
no need to worry after finishing the test you may check the progress of your
students and you may check your progress also.
People: This is where you manage your students as well as your colleague. You can invite students to your classroom from here and manage their permissions level. To invite students to your class, you have to set them up as Google Contacts in your Google Apps for Education account or they have to be in the school’s directory.
So this was all about how to create Google classroom and how to create a Google form.
