By the way, Today I am going to tell you something good especially if you are a teacher in real sense then it is definitely beneficial for you. Yes, as you all previously have celebrated world environment Day by this June 5th, 2023; under the theme of Ecological Restoration and have collected a certificate for taking a pledge.

Alot of teachers and others, had shared that environmental Pledge Certificate to their WhatsApp Status as well as to their friends and family too. But if you are a teacher in real sense go and get the certificate this time in the event of Shikshak Parv 2022. Yes, I am challenging you 😃 to have it.

As The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to transform the Indian education system by providing high-quality education to all, at every level. Under the aegis of NEP, various changes are being made to school education to shift towards a competency-based approach in curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment on a high-priority basis. Several initiatives have already been taken towards transforming the teaching-learning process at the school level to promote competency-based learning and education. These initiatives are increasingly incorporating innovative pedagogies in classrooms and prioritizing developing competencies through education.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to transform the Indian education system by providing high-quality education to all, at every level.

NEP recognizes the central role of teachers in driving fundamental reforms in the education system. It has become more important, than ever before, to collaborate with these frontline stakeholders in the process of implementing NEP. Therefore, to expand the resources which support the shift from rote learning methods to more skill and competency-based learning, the Ministry of Education invites all teachers across India to participate in a challenge.

Under this challenge, teachers will submit self-designed competency-based test/assessment items on MyGov App. The submissions will be reviewed and shortlisted by the Ministry of Education and NCERT. Teachers providing the selected entries will be given a certificate by NCERT and the respective submissions will be compiled together to form a repository of competency-based item bank.

This challenge will help gather insights from teachers based on their ground realities and requirements. The test items/questions thus developed, will also help shift the culture of assessment in the schooling system from one that is summative and primarily tests rote memorization skills to one that is more regular and formative. The introduction of more competency-based assessments will promote engagement, learning, and development for our students, and test higher-order skills, such as analysis, critical thinking, and conceptual clarity.

MoE, says that-

We are hereby celebrating Teachers’ Day i.e., Shikshak Parv 2022, by inviting teachers to participate in this challenge by creating innovative and challenging assessment items to engage students and transform the teaching-learning process.

Now I am damn sure that you'd have a better understanding about this parv but the main challenge is about to deal with plagiarism. Yea, it is a bit more difficult to deal with plagiarism but accept my wordings if you are a teacher and working on self dependent policy, you are one of them who is going to get it (its certificate) from NCERT. But if u prepare the document from the copy paste method then don't waste your time as you are not deserving candidate and you would not going to receive this certificate from NCERT.

Now the question is why I am saying this so here I'd like to make you clear that Now a days govt is using 2 sharp antiplagiarism software, i. e., “Tunitin and Urkund”. These are quite good as they can detect the materials asked from AI tools like Chat GPT or else. So, Beawar about it...

Now I am thinking that I have delivered the Alma mater from this side. If you have any questions, you can ask to be by leaving your questions in the comment section here in this blog. But before going to apply for that please give a bird eye view to the Terms and Conditions for this event.

Anyway, NCERT is leading it under the umbrella of MoE, GOI.

After being successful, you would be awarded with a certificate and you may get the opportunity to meet and greet with the leaders of Indian Education.

For the registration of yours, just click on my name, i.e., Rj Prashant, by clicking there, you would be directed to the registration page directly.
