Assam among top five states in NEP implementation: Assam Governor

Topic: The summary of the Third formal Meeting on “The Progress of implementing the NEP 2020: Challenges and Issues” as per the words of The Governor of Assam.

In Guwahati, Assam; while interacting with journalists, after a formal review meeting of NEP implementation in HEIs, He mentioned some problems are still there in enforcing it. Mr. Katariya also informed the correspondents that it was third formal meeting, in which the experts were invited to guide the Govt.

On the last Tuesday, The hon’ble Governor of Assam, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, while interacting with media personnel(s), said that Assam is one of the Top five state for implementing the NEP. He informed us that in this meeting they have invited the VCs to discuss with the issues for implementing the respective policy.  Mr. Katariya mentioned about the biggest issue in this direction is the low enrollment of students in HEIs.
